My name is Gabriela Kůpová, but most people simply know me as Gábi – the Duhotvorka.
I studied graphic design and have dedicated my entire professional life to creativity — not just graphic design, but art in all its forms. Painting is my passion, whether it's face painting, illustration, or creating unique visual designs.
Face painting lets me combine two things I love most: working with children and creating art. During a two-year stay in the U.S., I worked as a nanny and built strong connections with kids. It was there that the idea to blend imagination with visual art was born — and that's how Duhotvor came to life.
What is Duhotvor?
Duhotvor means Rainbow Being in Czech!
("Duho" - rainbow and "tvor" - being)
It's a creature, a playful being that paints rainbow-colored art on faces and bodies. It comes from a world full of color, kindness, and creativity. You'll often spot Duhotvor at events like:
🎪 Festivals, fairs, and city celebrations
🎂 Birthday parties and private gatherings
💍 Weddings and family events
🎨 Themed days at schools, preschools, and cultural centers
👩🏻💻 Corporate events, promo activations, and team buildings
At every event, we create a magical space where kids (and grown-ups!) can become anything they dream of — a tiger, a fairy, a dragon, or even a glowing galaxy under UV light.
The Duhotvor Team
While Duhotvor began as my personal project, I often collaborate with other talented face painters who share the same passion for art and working with children.
We're not a fixed team or a company — each of us is a freelance artist. But when we come together at an event, we join forces as a team of Duhotvors. I carefully choose collaborators I know are skilled, reliable, and professional.
